Season Notes

  • The Mets were defending their first divisional championship since 1988.
  • The end of an era for now. The Mets were so close to the playoffs but on September 12 the Mets lost to the rival Florida Marlins missing the playoffs just by being one game back in the NL East behind the Phillies. It was know as one of the worst MLB Collapses in MLB History.
