Bob Ojeda currently with SNY

Robert Michael Ojeda (born December 17, 1957 in Los Angeles, California) is a former Major League Baseball left-handed pitcher. Ojeda is best remembered as the ace of the 1986 World Series Champion New York Mets pitching staff, and for being the lone survivor of a March 22, 1993 boating accident that killed fellow Cleveland Indians pitchers Steve Olin and Tim Crews. He worked for SportsNet New York as a pre and post game studio analyst for Mets broadcasts. The shows he was on the network were Mets Pre-Game Live, Mets Post-Game Live and Mets First Pitch. He appeared on The Baseball Show with partner Ted Berg. He makes appearances on Mets Hot Stove, and on The WheelHouse. He also appeared on The Good Doctor.

He replaced Lee Mazzilli in 2009. Since he worked with the network he has been given a nickname which is Bobby O. He also broadcasts Minor League Baseball's games on the network of Brooklyn Cyclones along side with Kevin Burkhardt and Eamon McAnaney. He has appeared on a segment on Kids Clubhouse called Lingo.

Ojeda left SNY in January of 2015 and was replaced by Nelson Figueroa as the pitching analyst for the network.
