Rod Barajas had the game tying 2 run double (which should have been caught) and then scored the winning run when "The Animal", Chris Carter doubled in his first at bat as a Met. Carter, who was tearing up triple-A pitching, just arrived that day, as Frank Catalanotto was sent down.
The game ended when Ike Davis made his 3rd dugout dive, in just his 23rd Major League game.
