Chad MacDonald is the former Director of Amateur Scouting for the New York Mets. On December 7,2010 he joined the Mets organization as the Director of Amateur Scouting along with Dick Scott who became the Minor League Field Coordinator. On November 3,2011 Tommy Tanous replaced him as the director of amateur scouting.
