On June 18,2012 R.A. Dickey started for the Mets as he threw the third one hitter of his career against the Baltimore Orioles. This time a run didn't come off of him as it was a shutout win. Dickey struck out 13 batters as he walked 2. It is Dickey’s second straight one-hitter. Dickey lowered his earned run average to 2.00 this season. His record became 11-1 on the year. He even got run support as Ike Davis hit his first career grand slam to drive in 4 runs. The Mets went on to win the game 5-0.
