Hisanori Takahashi

Hisanori Takahashi (born April 2, 1975 in Sumida,Tokyo) is a Major League Baseball pitcher who is a pitcher in the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim organization.


On February 11 he signed a minor league deal with the New York Mets. He made his debut in the MLB on April 7.

HT came into the game for Jon Niese in the last game against the Marlins in the third inning on April 16 in the Mets lose to the fish to a score of 10-8.

HT is one of the candidates to take over Oliver Perez's pitching spot. He will be facing these guys for the spot

It was Dickey who was chosen.

HT was the Mets temporary closer after the Francisco Rodriguez problems. He got his first major league save on August 16, against the Houston Astros in a Mets 3-1 win.

He was a free-agent since the Mets new GM Sandy Alderson still couldn't sign him. He is right now with LA Angels as of December 2 for a 2 year deal.
