So then Hisanori Takahashi came in for Niese. Hisanori Takahashi will be in for Niese in his next start against the New York Yankees at Citi Field.

On June 5 Niese came back from the DL and pitched 7 innings getting the win making his record 2-2 against the Florida Marlins at Citi Field by wining to a score of 6-1.
