Manuel Alcides "Manny" Acosta Molina (born May 1, 1981 in Colon, Panama) is a Major League Baseball relief pitcher who is a free agent.

On March 30 Acosta was claimed off waives by the Mets from the Atlanta Braves. He replaced Ryota Igarashi who went to the DL on April 21.

Since Igarashi came back, he was sent back to Buffalo Bisons.

On July 22 Manny replaced Fernando Nieve after Nieve was put for DFA.

2011Edit

On June 3 he returned to the Mets just a day after the Mets sent Michael O'Connor to the minors.

2012Edit

On May 29 he was DFA'd by the Mets. His spot was replaced by Omar Quintanilla. He was soon out-righted to the Bisons. He returned to the Mets along with Matt Harvey on July 24 as Lucas Duda and Pedro Beato were sent down. On November 30 he was non-tendered by the Mets along with Andres Torres and Mike Pelfrey.
