Zachary Harrison "Zack" Wheeler (born May 30, 1990) is Major League Baseball starting pitcher for the New York Mets.

Wheeler who was drafted by the San Francisco Giants was traded to the Mets for Carlos Beltran on July 28. Since then he played in the minors.

Wheeler was called up on June 18 where he made his debut pitching against the Atlanta Braves in Atlanta. He earned the victory as he pitched six scoreless innings, while only allowing four hits, walking five and striking out seven. He was sent down the next day. He was recalled up on June 25 as Greg Burke was optioned down.
